The complexity of terrestrial satellite antennas

Satellite dishes can be made of different types of material (from aluminium to plastic) and correspond to various product categories. Their orientation considers the south as the reference point, towards the satellite from which the signal is emitted. From a technical point of view, the satellite dish has the task of acquiring the satellite signal, composed of electromagnetic waves, conveying it to the focal point. Here we find the Low Noise Block converter, known as LNB, or the converter. Its purpose is to amplify the signal received from the satellite and then to convert it using lower frequencies, which will then pass to a cable that leads to the receiver. Going into the technical specifications of the LNB, we find a structure that is divided into three elements: reflector, polariser, converter. One of the most widespread types of LNB is represented by the so-called "universal" products. The reception quality is determined by the accuracy of the direct tracking towards the satellite and by the absence of obstacles of various kinds. As mentioned, there are many types of satellite dishes: prime-focus, offset, Gregorian, Cassegrain, toroidal, planar antennas are available on the market.

Camper satellite antenna markets

The camper satellite antenna sector was created to offer users the enjoyment of television entertainment while away from home. To achieve the expected result, it is necessary to use technologically advanced resources. Moreover, campers have specific needs, because they seek the enjoyment of TV in different locations, without excessive technical complications and with good image quality. For this purpose, they need resistant products, with small dimensions, capable of achieving the correct tracking easily.
